Restoration of Thistle Frieze

This work, carved in Portland stone, involved restoring and reimagining an incomplete thistle frieze plaster cast from the City and Guilds of London Art School. The origin of the frieze is unknown but is thought to be a fragment from a medieval Portuguese or French funerary monument.
